Bullion Supplies

All the bullion used at Hean Studio is supplied through recognises suppliers of high quality bullion products.

They are:

• Metalor Technologies Ltd
• Cookson Precious Metals Ltd
• Johnson Matthey Ltd, and Allgemeine

These companies only procure raw materials through resources that can demonstrate well managed procedures for minimal environmental impact. However, as the jewellery sector is the only industry that has for over 4000 years recycled 100% of its products, you will appreciate that up to 80% of new materials may be sourced from recycling.

All the alloys used at Hean Studio are manufactured to the highest standards on our behalf, from raw materials of 99.99 purity. In house we maintain a strict regime of cleanliness and control to prevent any erroneous contamination of materials. Any materials that show signs of contamination, and returned materials that have been worked upon, are kept separate, and subsequently refined back to 99.99 purity, for re-use.
